The Problem
Publishing a contract required navigating 13 disjointed steps across 3 separate legacy platforms. With no unified view, users spent hours manually checking statuses, logging into separate portals, or pestering colleagues. The friction was in the blind handoffs between systems.
Constrains & System Architecture
The 13-step process is fixed by strict banking compliance, it couldn't be shortened. Instead of replacing three massive legacy tools, we designed an orchestration layer on top of them that aggregates live data from SAP Ariba, SAP BTP, and ServiceNow into one guided interface.
Execution & Key Feature
Cross-Functional System Mapping: Collaborated directly with the Lead Systems Engineer to map all 13 stages, data dependencies, and system handoffs.

State-Based Stepper: For each contract, a dynamic timeline indicator has been added. Users can see which steps have been completed, who completed them, and direct links to perform the next action.
Role-Based Views: Roles resolve at login. Budget owners and buyers see only their relevant data, keeping the UI clean and scalable for future roles.
Guided Task Funnel: Built an interactive landing funnel to route users to the correct entry point, preventing errors before they happen.

Impact
Secured International Rollout: Validated the prototype with process leads, securing consensus for a group-wide rollout across 10 international markets.
Scalable Framework: Phase 1 (Budget Owners) is in development; Phase 2 (Buyers) reuses the exact same design architecture.
